Wedding Planning Myths

I think when every bride starts to plan their wedding they are usually bombarded with ideas and opinions and the "right way" or the "wrong way" stories. It's a lot to take in for a newly engaged bride, that's why I want to help debunk a few of the myths.....

#1 Guest List...
They invited you to their wedding, so you feel compelled to invite them to yours! People need to understand that's it's your day not theirs, so don't feel forced to invite anyone. You should invite the most important people in your life, your friends will understand that having a wedding is $$$, and you have to keep that guest list within your budget limits! So Don't stress about your guest list!

#2 A wedding planner is too expensive...
My favorite one of course! Yes, there are planners out there that cost an arm and a leg, but there are many (like us) that will work with every brides budget! You can cut planner costs by only hiring for Day of Coordination services instead of a full service planning package. Our main goal as planners though is to leave the bride stress free on her special day, and you can't put a price on that!

#3 Bridal Party...
Don't ever feel like you have to worry about having an even number of groomsmen and bridesmaids. If you do have an uneven number you can make some of the guys ushers or have others be readers. You can always have one groomsmen walk with two bridesmaids or vice versa. It's your wedding, so you can run it however you choose, there are no wrong answers!

Just remember it's YOUR day, your the bride and whatever you and your groom decide will make your wedding day a day to remember forever! Happy Planning!
